Laser Cut Light Shade!!

I have just finished putting together my laser cut light shade, there are 5 different layers including, tracing paper, layout paper, recycled cartridge paper, standard cartridge paper and ice flown paper.

All I need to do now is get it into Uni in one piece :) xx

Sainsburys - TU - Live Brief

Before Christmas we were set a live brief through Uni with TU-Sainsburys to design a range of children's clothes.  I chose a dinosaur theme for toddler boys (age 1-5).  I designed a range of t-shirts and co-ordinating socks with text, imagery and embellishment.  I used photoshop to create my final images but created paper and textile samples, some which can be seen in the top image on the right hand side.

 My designs won 1st prize - which included a £200 voucher and a week placement at the TU design studio which I am really looking forward to doing in the summer :) x

I Love Starbucks!!

My Mum and Dad came to visit me today, bringing lots of presents!!! Including these lollipop cakes from starbucks!! AMAZING.....dont think they will last long with 4 girls in the house though!!! xx

Graham and Brown Live Brief

Hi guys, seems like ages since I have posted a new post - I've been on a work placement with Graham and Brown all week working on a live brief to design wallpaper and wall art for the new Julien Macdonald collection!!! I am absolutely loving it.  Iv been working on lace designs at the moment, its quite different from anything I have done before but I'm really enjoying the work and of course being with all the lovely people at GnB.  Back of again for another two weeks starting on Tuesday but I will keep you all posted on what I'm getting up too :)
